CECIL M. GAUZE, 57, of Ashland, Ky., husband of Nancy J. Hensley Gauze, died Tuesday at home. Edward served in the United States Army with distinction in Vietnam. He retired from Lyons Excavating after nearly 20 years. He was a member of the Boothsville Baptist Church. Edward was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed chasing his granddaughter around and watching her softball games in his later years. And her niece Faith was her world and she was the best Tila and Godmother to her. She was a loving daughter, enjoyed having coffee with mom and talking about the good times. Loved spending time with her dad and making new memories. Gina and her sister Melissa were the best friends that nobody could ever break, there bond was so strong and was alway there for one of another.
